Currently there are no rules as to what would happen if a quizzer were to cheat/tamper with the quiz questions, bench, etc. As it is, no cheating has likely occurred in CMA Bible Quizzing, yet it is still possible.
There is nowhere stated in writing that a quizzer is forbidden to steal the login information of one of the CQLT members and use it to access that quiz year's question list. A quizzer could, in theory, memorize all the possible questions for Internationals, thereby gaining a sizable advantage over other quizzers. There would need to be a punishment available for anyone who attempts to do so, as this is surely something that is thought of as wrong, but sumply has never been a written rule. If this were to happen, a quizzer would be punished in different ways, depending on the severity of the offense. That could mean that the individual is either 1) disallowed from a tournament (like Internationals, for the sake of the argument), 2) suspended from the quizzing program for a specified amount of time, or 3) permanently ejected from the program.
Additionally, if a person were to tamper with a bench on purpose, and successfully hinder one or more quizzers from being able to quiz the same as all the rest of those in attendance, whether with ill-intent toward another quizzer/ team or not, that also would call for a punishment for the offender. (This rule could include actual fixing or breaking of a bench, unplugging a light, or holding another quizzer's seat down to prohibit them from jumping.)
These ideas are not concrete, so if more explanation is necessary to fully answer the question, please ask for clarification.
