This is a feature request, not an issue report.
Currently, Mosaik programs display a curses-based (or ncurses-based?) progress
bar. I believe
this feature makes it impossible to run then on Sun Grid Engine which does not
support curses-
based applications:
http://www.open-mpi.org/faq/?category=running#mpirun-curses-readline
At present, running MosaikBuild, for example, causes the following error:
ERROR: Unable to create thread for progress counter.
It would be nice if there was a "-quiet" option that would suppress the
curses-based scrollbar
as well as all status-related output (except for error-reporting).
Thank you
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Please provide any additional information below.
