What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run honeycomb 3.2 RC2 asus laptop via Live CD/USB
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Touch screen should work and register touch properly and launch apps.
Instead touch will only pan the screen left and right.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
android-x86-3.2-RC2-asus_laptop.iso on Asus EP 121

Please provide any additional information below.
Using a USB mouse to open apps/menus will work.
Browser does register touch when clicking on links but pinch zoom does not
work.
Sound also does not work in apps for EP 121
Youtube/Flash also does not seem to run.

I gave it a try, I too have the same file file. After geting vendor id and
product id for my EP 121, I went ahead to rename idc file, but there already
exists a file with correct vendor ID and product id.
Vendor_00ef_Product_a001_Version_0201.idc

I tried to remove the version number but it says the device is readonly.

After installing Android 3.2RC2 to my Asus EEE Slate (EP121) on a separate
partition I followed the idc 'fix' suggestions. Like others have suggested the
idc file already has the correct vendor, product and version numbers. I renamed
the file to 'Vendor_00ef_Product_a001.idc' after which the touch screen started
responding however the Y-axis is inverted, and a two finger tap is needed over
the icons to get a click.

Does anyone have any further suggestions on fixing this issue? It seems to be
quite common but nobody seems to have a definite solutions or fix.

Thanks,
