I have setup a local seafile server using Apache2 + SSL as reverse proxy. I have created a user and added 2FA with the Google Authenticator. It works, but after scanning the QR code, the authenticator app shows "127.0.0.1:8000 (user@foo.baz)" as description, which is probably not what was wanted.
I guess this is because of the reverse proxy setup.
This is not a big issue, but would look nicer if corrected.
This is working fine for me, I am not running locally though, Google authenticator displays the URL of my website properly. Maybe you can close this issue.
