3 years ago - The limitation of the speed of the database is not absolutely clear and should be investigated
- The speed for searches on the database might be increased through indexing. However, we assume that the search should not be the limitation of the speed of the database. Other factors might be rather dominant.
- It might be critical that all information (data related to the webinterface as well as the stored data) go over one "channel" (this might refer to one port).
- We assume that the speed of the HALO-DB might be hampered by the interplay with the DLR firewall
As a user I am interested that all my operations on the HALO database are executed fast
