robot.connect() TCP connection refused #2

Open jwoo92 opened 4 years ago

I have a professor Einstein with old firmware (the suggested companion mobile app states firmware is outdated, must contact support for new hardware). Following the readme, once I got to robot.connect(), I was getting a TCP connection refused error in my terminal.

Do you know if this works on the outdated firmware? My robot is rendered unusable until I find a way past the dated firmware issue or gain momentum with SDK exploration.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Was this ever resolved I have the same problem, tried reaching out to Hanson Robotics but got no reply on any platform.

The old Einsteins are obsolete. But we plan to produce more, updated Einsteins soon, with improvements. Stay tuned

@DrDavidHanson Thanks for the insight, Dr. Hanson.

@iHaagcom If you figure out a workaround in the meantime, please it share here and I'll do the same. Thanks.
