Doesn't open URLs or searches from omnibox to new tabs any longer #199

To reproduce the problem, I
1. Type in a URL or search term in the omnibox
2. Press enter.

It should load the search page or the URL in a new tab as it has done for the 
past several months of using Chrome Toolbox. Instead, it load the URL or search 
page in the current tab.

I'm using Chrome Toolbox version 1.0.32 on Chrome version 29.0.1547.66 m and PC 
runs Windows 7 Professional SP 1.

I have checked and double-checked to see that "When pressing enter in address 
bar with a URL in it, open the URL in a new tab" is selected in the Chrome 
Toolbox settings. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the extension, to no 
effect.
