Just interested to know about training code #2

Hey! very nice to see your prediction , is there possible to share training code and any idea , if we like to add custom depthmap data set training on there ?

Hi @UD-Electric, the models used in this repo all come from external sources (MiDaS and Depth-Anything) and are just used as-is, without any additional training. I haven't tried to train them myself (yet) so I don't have any code for that to share at the moment.

It's also surprisingly hard to find training code for these models! As far as I can tell, the only existing code available is from the ZoeDepth repo. There is also a copy of this available inside the depth-anything repo. So checking out the zoedepth/metric-depth examples would be my best advice for now.

There is also the Marigold repo (which produces extremely high quality depth maps) and the authors have mentioned that they are in the process on releasing training code at some point. So it may be worth keeping an eye on that as well.
