The new line is not the issue. Try this test case instead:

I 10 10 K 1 1 10 10 X R 1 1 10 10 C S test.bmp

Yep, didn't try to make it extremely robust to invalid input. But this is clearly something they could have thrown into the mix to try and confuse things. Of course correcting for this behavior doesn't fix the grader issue. I'll upload my revision that passes this test.
