Dutch smart-energy company HomeWizard Energy is selling a pre orders for a "works with Home Assistant"-labeled plug-in battery, which I added to the templates.

Thanks for the contribution. I'll look at it properly when I get a min.

Cool thanks!

Please note this battery has a zero export - zero import policy. It is "invisible" to the grid operator since the battery will only charge from the solar surplus (monitored by P1 port) and will only discharge to the home (never into the grid). If some parameters could be added, that would be great.

Similarly, German grid operators allow for a max grid injection of 800 W, even with a 2 kW solar installation on the roof. The consumers' solar inverter gets dynamically adjusted by means of a current transformer (CT) clamp on the incoming / outgoing grid cable.

This is literally how this add-on, battery_sim, works :) and therfore this battery is perfect to be simulated with this simulator!
