Timthumb doesn't open valid image #377

Hi folks,

I'm having an issue when opening an image with timthumb.

The image can be found here (and it's also attached) -> 
http://lexikon.freenet.de/images/de/thumb/4/4b/Dypsis_lutescens1.jpg/180px-Dypsi
s_lutescens1.jpg

I saved the file onto the server and tried to open with timthumb and this is 
the message I got:

The file you specified is <= 0 bytes.

I'm using WordPress 3.3.2 and as you guys can see the image size is not <= 0.
