Suddenly loses work done when drawing or modifying a road

What steps will reproduce the problem?
You extend a road or modify an existing road and after several modifications 
the toolkit loses track of all the changes made and reverts to the roads state 
prior to modification

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The version that came with the Assign Deliverable
Running in a 2Gb VirtualBox on Win7x64 (with 8 Gb)

Please provide any additional information below.

This is particularly annoying because it is not practical to do partial saves 
when you are adjusting a road in highest map resolution because when you 
reselect the same road to continue with the modifications you jump back to its 
midpoint (which is off-screen to where you want to continue modifying

From the video it is hard to deduce what caused the error (e.g., a certain 
number of points on the road, a bad click by the user that caused a reset, 
etc). This will need to be reproduced before it can be properly identified and 
fixed
