Group of rooftop windows shows bad state #90037

Closed andras-tim closed 1 year ago

andras-tim commented 1 year ago

The problem

I have 3 VELUX rooftop windows that look like covers in HA. I can manage them in a group, but I have issues with mixed states:

If only one window is open from the 3, the group state is "closed", which can cause weather issues. I think this behavior comes from the "shader" type because this result with mixed-stated shaders is understandable, but not for windows.

In general:

  1. the percent should not be 0% or 100% in mixed-state
  2. the Open and Close buttons should be enabled in mixed-state regardless of whether there is a member in the end state.
