3 years ago Please go to the Nest Bridge and check Debug Logging and then Save. After this the bridge will restart. Download a new log file and attach the file to this task.

2 years ago I am having this same issue. I've upgraded to 4.2 and I keep getting this error. When I link to my account, my accessories do not show up in HOOBS.

2 years ago as far as i can see in your logs there's only the bridge created but not the plugin installed. remove the bridge and install the plugin again it will create a new bridge for you which you need to pair with homekit.

2 years ago @BobbySlope I did that a few times already. Still getting the same error. I removed the bridge and reinstalled the plugin. Without making any changes or configs, this is the logs...

I seem to be caught in a weird space where HOOBs doesn't load the plugin but starts the bridge.

2 years ago Is seams like the bridge cant load the nest plugin. Try to create the bridge first and then install the nest plugin into it.

2 years ago When creating, the bridge name will default to Nest Bridge, try a different name like Nest Bridge 2, or anything you want.
I think the old bridge isn't completely removing.
The other thing you can try is to remove -> reboot -> re install the bridge.

2 years ago @mkellsy I've renamed the bridge multiple times thinking that was the issue. Didn't work. I also did a reboot after removing the bridge. Then reinstalled the bridge with a different name and added the plugin. Still not working.

2 years ago @mkellsy Something happened after I rebooted. There was a HOOBs update. I'm now on 4.1.21. But there wasn't an update before I rebooted, which is weird. Did that release just happen while I was doing the reboot?
Also, now when I configure Nest, it's asking me to pull oauth data from developer tools instead of using the API like it was asking me yesterday. Something's very wrong I think. Unless homebridge-nest also just reverted back to not using the Google API.

2 years ago Did a complete factory reset because I was getting fed up with this entire thing. And here's what I get with a fresh reset. It looks like the plugin still isn't loading because of an error. And now my Nest plugin config screen doesn't include an option to connect to the Google API like 4.6.3 promises.
