In some occasions the settings file may get corrupted (or has some unknown incompatibility) and this is causing the issue.
The file is located at "/Users/
1) Quit Horos 2) As this file contains your Horos settings setup, I do recommend you to do a backup of it. 3) With the backup done, remove the settings file 4) Relaunch Horos
Let me know if that helps you to have Horos running again.

6 years ago Doesn’t work. Horos 3.1.1 still crashes every time I open it. Here’s the log:

Horos 0x000000010f28f52f +[PluginManager loadPluginBundle:] + 303
You should manually remove plugins from Library/Application Support/Horos/Plugins, both in the root and in the home library.

6 years ago Yes Jim - As @aglv said, by the log one of the plugins you have is adding some instability to the system.
You can remove the plugin manually, install Horos 3.0, launch it and, using the plugin manager, reinstall the plugins.
Let us know if any plugin you had is missing in Horos 3.0.

In fact, I only have one plug-in, it is the plug-in labeled “Dental3DPlugin.horosplugin”.
But the error message says its caused by the plug-in manager.
I will manually remove that plug you and try it and see if it helps but it doesn’t say that dental 3D plug-in is causing the problem.

Dental3DPlugin has a separate build for Horo 3.x.x.
You can remove it manually as you said and reinstall it from the plugin manager in Horos.
Please, let us know if that helps.

I deleted the Dental3DPlugin.horosplugin from the Library, installed Horos 3.1.1, and reinstalled the plugin.

I've installed 3.01 and 3.10 over 2.4.1 several times on several computers at home and at my office. Every time I try to open it on a Mac it crashes...immediately. I have had to reinstall 2.4.1. This is with MacOS 10.12.6 and 16GB RAM. Please advise ASAP, thanks!
