Little to no speech when scrolling through list items with a hardware keyboard in Android 4.3

1.  Open an app which has a list of scrollable content (such as Seesmic).
2.  Using a hardware keyboard, Down Arrow until the list begins to scroll on 
screen.

I expect to hear the newly focused list item when I scroll to it which occurs 
in Android 4.2.2. What happens for the majority of the time is that Talkback 
speaks only "showing item x of y."

Using Talkback 3.5 beta 1 on Android 4.3. As noted above, scrolling with a 
hardware keyboard yields more consistent speech pre-4.3.

I have also seen the same behavior in other apps such as FriendCaster Pro.

I was unable to reproduce this with the latest release version of TalkBack on 
Android 4.3 within Seesmic.
