Word completion UX bug #3

Details Small and odd bug report, there is an issue with the word completion. When I type fast or slow, it works. But at my normal speed, the UX swallows the words. E.g. I want to type “Calculate the …“, the autocomp will show Calculate and then truncate the word to “late” Not consistently reproducible, but happens 1 in 3 times or so.

System Info: MacOS: 14.6.1 (23G93) Chip: Apple M1 Max

Wait - this isn't from the MacOS app is it? Would you mind raising this issue in https://github.com/huggingface/chat-ui? I'll close this issue for now but if you run into Mac specific issues please let me know!
