Highlight trace path #104

If it would be possible to click on a copper track and its path is highlighted
through the jumpers. This is very useful for fault finding.

Bane
Sounds good. I don't use the "Straight Copper Trace" component for anything, so
I use it as a help in checking connections manually. I have set it to be 2mm
wide and the same colour as stripboard tracks. I then put it on top of tracks
where the track is in use conducting between components. It only shows because
it covers the holes. Have a look at the attached sample circuit to see the
effect.

I can totally see the usefulness of this.

While I often use only straight copper traces when laying out the board, I then
use a lot of curved traces when finalizing the look of the board. Quite often
there'll be solderpads that are only graphically intersecting the path it's
"on".

I think I'll better add an attachment to show what I mean. The attachment shows
a corner of the board that I'm designing "as we speak", I highlighted on
solderpad that's "off the path" but on.

I can totally understand if you'll implement this and leave me to do my
checking manually (as I've just done less than 20 minutes ago), but if you
could find a way to solve the problem for me as well I'd be more than happy.

This was included in 3.3.0 as "Expand Selection" feature. It's got 3 modes,
some are more usable in some situations than others and can be used for
debugging layouts/schems
