Window swallow in multiplexers #8236

Description

Been playing with Zellij for a couple of days, it seems like the window swallow feature doesn't work if I launch anything from it, as soon as I exit out of it it starts working again, (on kitty term) is this something that could be added? Perhaps behind an option?
