When you switch the avatar mode to user uploaded, it is slightly confusing to set up. When you click change avatar there is a completely separate page it sends you to which is empty, except for an image input. once you put an image there and click upload it allows you to crop it, but it never tells you that your avatar has been set or what the crop button does besides crop the image.
It would be nice if this was just done in a modal or at the very least the avatar edit page looked nicer and gave you more information than it currently does
