Update to 1.18.2 #203

I want the portal gun mod to be updated to 1.18.2.

I know it's a bit of a cliche, but the guy might be dead. If he hasn't responded to anyone since March when he closed one issue saying he doesn't work on 1.12.2 or older anymore, they've either given up on this or died.

🤷‍♂️ I'm sorry that I have a life that takes priority over updating mods I first made 11 years ago

I want the portal gun mod to be updated to 1.18.2.

As I stated, I'm busy with other things in life and have not been working on my mods. Clones do exist for Fabric nowadays so my priority in updating or porting Portal Gun has much reduced.

I can't promise when I'll update the mod in the future once again but it's likely it'll be a long long time from now, y'know, since I have life stuff to attend to and I'm busy not being dead and all.

There are many other better ways to illicit a response from a person without falsely claiming of their deaths, especially without thorough checking on your end.

Fabric ports are completely buggy

They are not ports, they are their developer's own implementation. Any issues the mods have should be taken up with the developer so they can address and improve their mod.

Okay. I won't rush and I will just be patient.

The developer is aware of this, but the bug is still not solved, the bug report has existed for many months. Mods that add portal guns in version 1.18.2 are not reliable.

I just want to have fun and do cool stuff on Minecraft.
