Analog airspeed broke in 7 update #10219

Open MattParsons-MP opened 4 months ago

MattParsons-MP commented 4 months ago

Current Behavior

No airspeed output in sensors. Unable to arm 'sensors calibrating'. Seems to work fine in 6.1.

Expected behavior

airspeed to work and not prevent arming

Suggested solution(s)

I see reports that airspeed was broken in inav 6 and fixed in inav 7. This is the opposite for me and I assume this is because i'm using an analog sensor and not digital?? sensor is mpvx7002. I see there are a lot of changes with airspeed and I haven't had time to have a good look into the code but i'd love to contribute in the future

Please set the airspeed sensor up completely, make sure its connected. Then go to the Sensors tab and enable the airspeed sensor. Run a tethered logging into a text file for at least 1 minute and then please post it here.

if the runtime calibration does not complete it could mean a very noisy sensor. Also please check this video from Darren, it might be related as it especially affects SpeedyBee Wing FCs the most https://youtu.be/rEzWCJsS6Nc
