The computer science department's advising has switched to zoom, and is sending links to their meetings via email once the student reaches the front of the Queue. I'm not sure what the advisors' side of the interface looks like, but I'm sure they would find it simpler to send the link through the Queue directly, helping to keep their jobs organized (less apps being used at once).
As a student, if I'm in the Queue, this makes it so that I can ensure that I get a notification on my desktop when they send the invite link. Accessing my email is just another tab, and potentially another authentication step, keeping me from my meeting.
