I looked over this and the API for Dynamic Lights Reforged and ultimately opted for an alternate solution as shown in 837cb2e395605cb0cca6c3573b24f1c8b4c124ca

Although I did not end up merging this PR, I'd still like to thank you for the work you put into this which did help me figure out the solution I ended up with.
