the serial representation of ADM that you mention (or sADM) is a time series of XML frames, that should be streamed as additional audio channels (in addition to the "audio" audio channels). ADM-OSC covers a different use-case where the metadata lives in a different "pipe" than the audio. Some Object Editors are "control-only", and can't really benefit from sADM.

But we could easily imagine a "merger" device which receives:

and outputs sADM as a result. Such a "merger" device (merging audio and metadata) would be useful in a Live -> broadcast scenario, for example.
