Custom Content Types #206

This is an oft-requested feature: "I want to be able to create my own content types with my own fields". Examples include Spaceships, Infinity Stones, Conspiracies, etc.

I think we probably eventually want to create a way for people to create their own custom content types for themselves (and enable them per-universe), but also enable them to "share" with other users. This could take the form of a marketplace-ish place where you browse around for content types other users have created (and shared) and add them to your own notebook for use.

To implement this, we need to:

  1. abstract out content types from hard-coded classes
  2. create the current/default content types for all users in the new system
  3. provide a template editing framework for people to add/edit/remove categories, fields, and links

Feedback:

I would like to be able to create hierarchies within a given Page or grouping of pages. Such as I have a Magic system that creates the rules for other magical systems, which in turn may create more restricted magical systems below them.

Likewise, I could see a potential use for this feature in things such as Items which may be broken down into smaller items for some reason. (Such as the Infinity Gauntlet of the Marvel Universe can be broken down into the individual Infinity Stones, each with their own through history and distinct abilities.)

Not sure if it exists already but didn't see it. However, the ability to add different categories and delete unnecessary ones would be nice. For example, I want a category similiar to Characters so I can have Spaceships. Being able to define the fields for each new Category object would also be nice. Then, being able to remove unnecessary categories like Religion, if you don't need them, would be neat.

I would like a section to add and create cultures.

I would like the ability to add a new high-level category or Page similar to Magic, Characters, and Location. For Example I could add a Page "Conspiracies" or "Questions" and then use custom categories within that page to track conspiracies that exist in a world or insightful questions about the world that need answers.

subcategories- artifacts, plants, instruments, food, mineral, metal, weapon, armor, tool etc. User-defined would be cool too.

Having another option on top of Magics titled Technology. Would like to keep my universes technology all in one place and not have to clog up my items list.

Please add Standards & Measures/Tables - Units of time, volume, length, area, heat, & etc.(units of water, units of people, units of staple crop, units of arable land), Cultivation Tables

I would like the ability to edit section names. Such as changing "magic" to "superpowers".
