[ ] Use IRC for public chat rooms
[ ] Use our own, or some other external service, for private chat rooms

As an enhanced service, coRocket can provide always online services for IRC clients. Something similar as ppl use detached screen sessions on remote servers, to always stay connected to the IRC chat.
