Are you referring to this example? http://wiki.ros.org/find_object_2d#A3D_position_of_the_objects

Well, you can have find-object UI opened at the same time than RVIZ to see when the object is detected. If no object is detected, the corresponding TF won't be published.

cheers, Mathieu

Hi,

I am facing the same issue, the Find_object UI is able to detect the object but unable to see the TF on RVIZ Screenshot from 2022-04-23 10-56-27

How can I fix this ?

matlabbe commented 2 years ago

Are you using a RGB-D camera? Without depth image, it won't compute any TF. See http://wiki.ros.org/find_object_2d#A3D_position_of_the_objects
