What should this feature add?

Love the new bulk-upload introduced with 5.2.0rc2 (#7123). However it appears to be using whichever board is selected as "Auto" to determine where the assets are placed, regardless of whichever gallery was open when the files were dropped in or where the "select file(s)" dialogue-box was opened from. This feels a bit counter-intuitive

Alternatives

When images are dragged and dropped for upload they should be stored in the gallery that's currently open When images are selected for upload through the "select file(s)" dialogue-box they should be stored in the gallery that the dialogue was opened from
