A numeric keyboard appears intermittently for a text input on Android.
Using the starter applications from Ionic, add a text input and a number input to the view. Keep tapping on each of the fields in turn - at some point a numeric keyboard appears although the focus is in the text field.
A reverse phenomenon occurs equally often - a text keyboard appears although the focus is in the number field.
The issue is easily reproducible (after 10-20 taps) with Ionic 1 and Ionic 2, on Android 6 and Android 7, with the following devices: Samsung Galaxy S7 and Sony Xperia Z1.
Version of the ionic-plugin-keyboard is 2.2.1.
