You're at St Andrews? This effort could be good to involve the DFO-managed OBIS Canada node in as we work through it. @cornthwaitem OBISCanada@dfo-mpo.gc.ca could maybe help us with adding all the appropriate DFO context and the translation work itself!
@BeReinhart you can email me directly: maria.cornthwaite@dfo-mpo.gc.ca
Hi Maria,
These are for pre-registering datasets to work with at the 3rd annual Marine Biological Data Mobilization workshop, it'll be held April 22-23rd, 2024, virtually. There are a couple of Canadian datasets within and beyond DFO who have registered to participate so far, it'd be really great to move them along into OBIS Canada!
Thank you for identifying this dataset for mobilization. The workshop hosts wanted to check in. Is there anything you need help with in order to mobilize this dataset to OBIS? If you would like assistance from an OBIS node you can find node contacts listed here.

Dataset Title
MBON data in NB Canada
Describe your dataset and any specific challenges or blockers you have or anticipate.
I am working with intertidal biodiversity data collected using the Marine Biodiversity Observation Network protocols. I have guidance documents from the MBON team, but I haven't converted data to Darwin Core or uploaded data to OBIS yet so am looking forward to learning where to begin.
Info about "raw" Data Files.
