Currently it auto parses the mod (file/folder) name if it contains what OMM thinks is version info. This only works properly for versioning in v1.2.3 format or date stamps in YYYY MM DD format. When mod names use other formats, e.g. "v2.3 24 SEP 2024", it goes haywire.
IMO, best to let the user assess his own use case and determine if he wants OMM to parse mod names or display the unaltered mod name.
