Today, we needed to take down the Zone behind an instance of the cloud browser that was configured to talk to a single iRODS Zone.
On screen, during a failed login, the error was simply Authentication error, check host, port, and login information. But this is misleading, and suggests I typed something incorrectly and that I should try again.
When configured for 'maintenance mode', the user/password fields should be replaced with a splash screen saying that the system being served by this instance is inaccessible, or if set, a customized message.
