There's 2 actions you can use - if Alert and if Manual Alert I dont see much value in tagging Alert events with "alert" - it just means more space used in the database
the strange thing is that I never used a value in "With tag" field and the suggested values appeared after configuring and using "manual alert" and "alert" setup. Hence my assumption that the alert tag was associated with "Alert" action... since it magically appeared on its own among the "usable" ones.
I'm wondering which is the case where "alert" and "detected" tags are added to the event... I have old recordings with both tags disappeared on recent recordings
it'll be tagged with alert if an alert either triggers recording or occurs whilst it's recording same with detected do you have steps to follow to demonstrate this not happening?

Hi,
if I trigger a "manual alert" a tag "manual" is adedd to the event:
but differently when I trigger an "alert" on motion detect the label "alert" is missing on the event and the Action configuration works only if I leave blank the "With tag" field
