TA names may not be fully alphanumeric

not all names are alphanumeric, some contain / or - or ,. in these cases i cannot enter the full name of the ta into the app. while a minor issue as you can remove those characters while inputting, if you were to have multiple reference lists, some with the ta names containing special characters and others not, it can make sorting through them troublesome

App rejecting valid names with slash

Bala s/o Vikram is a valid national registered name, however the app does not allow this TA to be added. While we can work around this issue by perhaps removing the '/', this would not be the best as such names are valid, and the app should be able to accept all valid names without having to go through the trouble of removing certain characters.
