I am sorry if that is a duplicated thread, but I didn't see the similar one got resolve.
I have tried to load the plugin in an Ubuntu 12.04 machine(vim compiled with python support), in a Debian machine (the same for vim) but the source of the script doesn't seem to do anything and when I type
:IPython
it just says "Not an editor command", I've debugged vim session and seems that is sourcing the script well, but after that nothing happens. I've tried having an ipython session opened and also closed, nothing changed.
Could you help me out? We didn't find the solution..
Here is the log from VIM:
chdir(.vim/ftplugin/python)
fchdir() to previous dir
sourcing ".vim/ftplugin/python/ipy.vim"
finished sourcing .vim/ftplugin/python/ipy.vim
What are we doing wrong? It seems to work for everybody except for me and my colleague.
