l3 aggregation routine broken #6

med_mad_cnt_grid in l3 obviously is broken, as it at least uses one variable that was dropped in earlier refactoring.

From viewing I suspect that the entire gridding became an external module and this routine wasn't fixed afterward.

Has been fixed by 7e89944 (tagged v0.1.3).
