I haven't had a lot of time recently to work on it. If you want to start looking into what it would take to generalize the routine for any order spline, that would be helpful. I'll get to it eventually, but not sure when.

Hi @jacobwilliams! Do you expect to be able to work on this again anytime soon? I am about to change jobs, so I will unfortunately not be able to contribute to this with significant amounts of time, but we're using this library in a research code that would benefit dramatically from being able to set BCs.
