JSON is not valid #135

I got error in cinnamon log, that metadata.json is not valid. At least it requires 'url' and 'cinnamon-version' fields. I didn't check further, applet does not launch.

My cinnamon version is 2.8.6

Hmm where did you install this? It shouldn't be trying to load as a extension. Is it in the extensions folder or the applets folder?

Resolved. I did wrong install.
