[ ] Create new repo (will start over project but import views and most code from current JournalApp Repo)*
[ ] Redo CoreData/Persistent Storage functionality for proper backend
[ ] Work on UI
[ ] Restructure user process so it is easier to code/structure in terms of storing data
[ ] Adding different tags/emotions to each entry
[ ] Create Design Assets/Visuals
[ ] Testing
*Note: I have been struggling a lot with my current code so I plan to make a new repo to see if I can reorganize and get it working.
Do you have any specific questions about how to proceed?
Not at the moment. I believe I have a few possible solutions I can try within the new repo and creating the app again from scratch
Has your app idea and plan changed? How?
With the amount of struggling and problem solving I have done, I am aiming to do a very simple journal/note app now, and I hope to accomplish that functionality before moving onto being able to view all notes in a wider scale by month/emotion.
What have been the most challenging aspects so far?
The most challenging aspect has been trying to get CoreData to properly implement, as I had a lot of struggle with using a persistent container as well. I will probably try to get the basic functionality working before moving onto some design work, then going back to trying to implement the emotions and monthly view of journal entries/emotions.
