Option to not lock in center #25

My macbook pro has a speaker problem, when balance is at center, the left speaker is crackling. I'd like to lock it at around 75% right speaker, 25% left speaker. Could this be possible to add ?

There have been other suggestions for this in the past, so perhaps it could be worth revisiting.

Ideally we would need to implement device management as you would want different balance defaults per output device. E.g. when you connect your headphones you would still want the balance to be at 50%.
