I am writing this to thank jankeirse for this great app. The instructions in the readme.txt are excellent and I easily discovered the problem generated by pasting the C:\Windows\Temp\debuggmaildrafter.txt into the command prompt.
This being 2017, a number of changes are recommended.
Check if the path command points to the proper location of the "java.exe." I installed JRE v 8 and the installation added the wrong path to the environment variable.
I only use a single Gmail login password, (mo two level verification), but Gmail MAPI security still must be changed to access by less secure apps, otherwise, it won't work. Google will mail a request for confirmation.
Finally, the software manages the default mail app in both MS Word and LibreOffice which was required.
