Feature Request: Produce 2.0 build #4

2.0 beta is now available on the upstream repository. It has a rewritten core to handle timezones through moment.

It might be a good idea to get this branch inline as well.

Are there any updates on this front? Any timelines on when this might be possible?

rrouse commented 10 years ago

@jph303 My boss emailed the author and the author said that he doesn't need any of the improvements in 2.0, so he has no plans currently to do it.

@rrouse thanks for your quick response, do you know if Adam Shaw has ever entertained the idea of adding the resource view to the main branch of fullcalendar? We have a requirement to use both modes and would be interested on trying to contribute to a merger.

@jph303 Jarno's fork probably came around because of Issue 150 on FullCalendar's Google Code issue list

https://code.google.com/p/fullcalendar/issues/detail?id=150&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Milestone%20Summary%20Stars

It's been around since 2009. It's listed as "accepted", but as far as I know, no attempt has been made to fully integrate.

We ended up forgoing FullCalendar in its entirety and went with DHTMLX Scheduler. It has everything built in, but doesn't do timezones. I ended up working around that in my backend code, so it works for our purposes.
