Unable to access New user meta field

Please pardon the question. I've look through all of the documentation and am unable to find the answer. On most form builders, a reference can be made to a field in the WordPress user record - display name, first name, last name, email, etc.

I've added a new field 'rate', but am unable to procreate it into any forms builders.

Is this so out of scope I should be looking someplace else?
