It looks like the last commit on this project was made in 2015, and Issues in the time since haven't been acknowledged by a maintainer. Do you plan to maintain this project, or is it safe to assume "openid4java" is deprecated/has reached the end of its life? @jbufu

I think the project is no longer maintained mate

I forked and did a slight modernization pass, with emphasis on upgrading an incompatible apache httpclient version and stripping out the spring garbage. You're welcome to use the jitpack artifacts.
