What my Bosnian mother-in-law cooks

My Bosnian mother-in-law Mediha cooks the most incredible food. She often cooks several dishes when we visit and they are always amazing. I always praise her as I do genuinely enjoy her food but I think she just thinks I am being polite. I'd like to learn to cook the dishes myself so I thought it would be useful to capture a log of what she cooks up so I have something to look back on but also something to help me research the dishes and find the Bosnian recipes. Mediha cooks all her meals from memory and when I have asked for the recipes she said she thinks they are in a Bosnian cookbook she is going to find for me.

• Vegetable soup - broccoli, cauliflower, carrot soup, knock of lamb, whole onion.
• Pepper with small potato cubes and cream
• Beef slices with a stock like gravy
