This project idea is a bit under-defined and unclear. When you say "using a job api" do you have a specific one in mind? As-is the project is very much a CRUD app, and needs some brainstorming to figure out good features to add on that will differentiate it.

We have a list of job board APIs but have yet to choose one, currently, we're planning on taking information like the job title and location of previous jobs applied to, then using that to query an API and display the results of similar jobs to the user. As for taking this beyond a CRUD app, we were having a hard time thinking of features and were hoping you could provide some insight. Something that came up while brainstorming was a forum where users can discuss things like interview experiences at certain companies but this seems too similar to platforms that already exist like Glassdoor.

Yeah I think this is worth a bit more brainstorming. I'll talk about final project stuff a bit on Monday.
