Question about iOS hardware #1

I've seen some equipment that either supports iOS (e.g. Chord Mojo 2) or is designed for it (e.g. Helm Bolt DAC).

Are they worth looking into or a waste of money?

I don’t know for sure. I suspect it means they are known to work with Macs/iOS. I would expect them all to.

People rave about the Chord’s. I’ve yet to see any audible difference, aside from volume, from a DAC or amp. Since I’m pretty happy with the current setup, I haven’t justified the extra expense. Plus, the form factor of the Mojo has always seemed odd to me. But people swear they see the best thing since sliced bread.
