Describe the bug Trying to play to Chromecast from Android. Only "my device" will show up.

I only have a chromecast at girlfriends house not in my home, where the jellyfinserver is. So this bug is happening outside local network.

System (please complete the following information):

To Reproduce

  1. Open Jellyfin outside local network
  2. Try to cast anything
  3. Chromecast will not show up

Expected behavior

Chromecast show up

Additional context I know there are similar bug reports, but most of them are using some self signed certs or don't use a reverse proxy.

@anthonylavado moved this issue to Android, but I am not sure if this is a Android problem. It could also be a Chromecast, nginx docs or Jellyfin problem, maybe this issue even comes up with iOS.

This is my first bugreport, if I can give you additional information to narrow down the issue, please let me know.

Oh I forgot to ask. Are you using the Android app here, or is this in the browser? If it is a browser, which one?

It is the android app. Will test chrome on a Laptop to see if I get the same problem.

Casting from a Laptop using Chrome works. It is only the android app we can not cast from.
