"Connection Failure" when using libre release #327

I just upgraded to the 1.0.0 release (thanks for the update). I updated Jellyfin with the libre APK and could see my media titles but I couldn't play anything and there were no images. I uninstalled the app completely and installed from scratch and could then not connect to my server at all.

Using the release APK made everything work but it would be nice to see if others have this issue with the libre APK since I would rather use that instead (especially once it's available on F-Droid).

Our libre release isn't related to the F-Droid build thankfully, but I have confirmed this issue on my own device so I think it's a global issue. Seems like our FOSS release isn't quite ready yet.

Same issue remains in latest release v1.0.2
